Early this morning, I made a decision that left me questioning the power of social media influencers. I unfollowed a respected doctor after his post implicitly advocated boycotting lawyers as patients, sowing seeds of distrust in our legal system.
As someone who values liberty and life, I was disheartened by the doctor's message. His words, though intended to support colleagues, can be fatal and damaging. Medical professionals should prioritize patients' well-being, regardless of profession.
Let's promote empathy, understanding, and inclusivity, rather than hate and discrimination. Words have consequences, especially from influencers.
